Stage 3 Kit:

Our Plug n Play ecu is designed specifically for the GMC Syclone and Typhoon.   It features factory harness connectors and a base tune so you can install the unit and start the vehicle within a matter of a few minutes (Stage 2 and Stage 3 kits will require some additional tuning to get up and running quickly).  We modify the factory ecu box to accommodate all new 21st century electronics so it installs in the same factory bracket location on the passenger side of the vehicle under the dash.

Inside the box is an MS3 Pro circuit board with integrated solid state data logging.  You can purchase Tuner Studio Ultra for $99 and start tuning the system for whatever your HP goals may be.  The ecu box features an RS-232 serial cable making it easy to download the datalogging information or run a live monitor (generally customers use an RS232:USB convertor cable to connect to most modern laptops).  There are also wireless monitor hardware options that can be added.

The Stage 2 ecu is designed to interface with an aftermarket crank trigger, cam sensor, and coil pack, which eliminates the need for a distributor.  With the purchase of this kit, we provide the wire harnesses and a list of sensor parts to be purchased which include:

  • coil pack
  • crank tooth wheel/sensor
  • cam sensor
  • billet timing cover
  • new plug wire set

Stage 3 features all the options of the Stage 2 kit, plus the addition of sequential fuel injection.  In simple terms, this allows you to save gas and also really dial in the smooth operation of engine.  Individual fuel injector control is also essential for very high HP motor builds.

An additional cable runs from the ecu to the fuel rail for this kit.

Lastly, if you're new to vehicle tuning, or don't want to bother with the Tuner Studio software learning curve then we offer a remote tuning service.

For $299 our expert tuner will log into your vehicle once all the hardware is installed.  Once logged in, the tuner will adjust all your tables to get the vehicle running nicely during cold start up and also standard operating temperature.  This only requires that you connect a laptop to your ecu and have wifi available in your vehicle location for the remote tuning service to be performed.
